How to Create a Summer Hot Dog

STEP 1: Gather all Materials

Gather the following materials for The Summer Hot Dog:

  • beef hot dogs,

  • hot dog buns,

  • mustard,

  • ketchup,

  • red onion

  • jalapeño,

  • cheese,

  • small container bowls (minimum 3),

  • two cutting boards,

  • knife,

  • serving plate,

  • grilling thongs,

  • plate to hold hot dogs, and

  • grill.

STEP 2: Prepare all Food

Prepare all the food to make The Summer Hot Dog:

  • dice the jalapeño, 

  • dice the red onion,

  • open up the hot dog buns,

  • get the shredded cheese out, and

  • grill the hot dogs.

STEP 3: Make The Summer Dog

Load up the hot dog and bun with all the fixings to make The Summer Hot Dog:

  • place beef hot dog in bun,

  • drizzle (or pour hearty) ketchup,

  • drizzle (or pour hearty) mustard,

  • sprinkle diced red onion,

  • sprinkle diced jalapeño, 

  • sprinkle shredded cheese, and

  • ENJOY The Summer Hot Dog!
