In this digital journal entry for INTE 5711, I'm discusses the work being performed for the year-end training at my organization. Every year the Controller's Office performs five training sessions to teach asset custodians how to accrual transactions for the fiscal year. It's a training process that typically requires eight employees to perform and about 300 employees that serve as an asset custodian or support role. I proposed the idea of converting the five training sessions to one eLearning course that is available to all employees throughout the year-end process. It provides a one-stop-shop for employees to view training and supporting documentation. It provides the Controller's Office the opportunity to track attendance better and reduce redundant questions.

The story board is 54 slides that tell the story of the year-end training. It includes four voice over presenters - two managers, one supervisors, and a specialist. Articulate Storyline is being used to build the eLearning and the organization's inner LMS will host the content. The content is accessible to over 10,000 employees; however the focus is on about 300 employees that are responsible for the year-end process. The process runs from November 30, 2018 to February 25, 2019. The eLearning course will go-live on Wednesday, December 19, 2018.

This has been a great experience and it will save the city money by not hosting multiple sessions and avoid redundant questions. The the voice over personalities are enjoying working through this process and have gained a deeper appreciation for the learner and the content they are producing.
